·       Sullivan’s student phone policy is “NO CELL BELL TO BELL”.  This refers to the arrival bell in the morning until the dismissal bell at 2:10.

·       If there is an emergency, call the main office and we will get the message to the student, or we will call the student to the phone if needed. Students who need to make a phone call must get a pass from their teacher and call from the office.

·       Students may not use their cell phones during the school day - phones must be put away during the day.  Students may check their phone for messages at the end of the school day.

·       Cell phones and other electronics are considered disruptive to learning and are not allowed during the school day. All phones and electronics brought to school must be kept in the student's locker (turned off) during the school day.  Cell phones or other electronics brought into the classroom will be confiscated and returned only to a parent.

Visitors

·       Any individuals other than Sullivan students and staff are regarded as visitors and must report to the Front desk or Main Office upon entering the building. Visitors must sign in and obtain a visitors pass to remain in the building. Sullivan does not allow outside students as visitors. In the interest of providing a safe environment for the students, only the main entrance on East 28th Street is open after the school day begins.

·       Per city rules, there is no parking on the north side (the school side) of E 28th Street.

·       Parking on the south side is limited to one hour, but we ask that you not park on either side during bus times as our streets become too narrow for buses to pass, creating unsafe conditions.

·       Families and other visitors use the park main parking lot on the east side of the building (by the playground).  The north lot (by the loading dock) is staff only parking.
